CHARACTER:
MARY A 50 year old Irish Catholic mother of four, who takes no prisoners!
Mary, wife to Rodge, and mother of Rod, Jane, Freddy, and Fionnghuala, lives in a farmhouse in the Irish countryside, next to the new EC-funded motorway. After years of dispensing advice whether it was needed or not, she is given her own (low budget) radio programme on the local network, giving advice to the masses.
This hilarious series of ten short radio plays (under 15 minutes each), shows each of her programmes, from start to end, as they are recorded in a mocked up radio studio in the back bedroom.
