the diamond celebration dinner & dance

BTC's 60th Anniversary celebration dinner & dance took place in October 2008, as our Diamond Year drew to a close. The event took place at the Bromley Court Hotel and was attended by nearly a hundred members. With entertainment provided by the excellent "Clint's Jazz Band" and a table magician, the perfect mood was set for BTC members to catch up with friends past and present.

Excellent and moving speeches were provided by:
Barbara Kirby, explaining how Beckenham Theatre ignited her passion for drama fifty years ago;
Fiona Vail, our current chairman, who spoke about the current health and vitality of BTC; and
Verity Hall, a member of the Youth Group, discussing the exciting future we still have to look forward to.

The 5th annual Beatties ceremony took place on Saturday 14th November 2008. The evening was hosted by Jaimi Shanahan and Alex Vail and the winners in all categories are listed here.

Celebrating the talent and enormous hard work that went into all the full productions and weekend spots between August 2007 and July 2008.
